The band Buhos are to light up Christmas at illa Carlemany

The shopping centre is putting the finishing touches to its Christmas decorations, which will be illuminated from next Thursday 23rd, after a lighting-up event featuring the Catalan group Buhos.

Thursday 23rd November, at 8pm

Illa Carlemany, Andorra’s centre, will be welcoming in Christmas with a small concert by Buhos, a free concert, who will be singing some of their best-known songs. Concert capacity is limited. The event will also feature the traditional countdown. For a month and a half the decorations and activities will make illa Carlemany a must to visit, a place to experience twice the Christmas!

A giant tree and over 30,000 lights

The decorations, which include stars, garlands, trees, the magic letterbox, a Nordic village and the ceiling of the shopping centre lit up by nearly 30,000 LEDs, invite you to live the Christmas spirit 100%. Also, an essential feature, the giant tree, dominates the shopping centre. Beneath it is entertainment for young audiences. At Christmas, at illa Carlemany, it’s twice the Christmas!

Activities and services until 5th January

Until Epiphany the shopping centre will be offering services and activities for you to experience all the magic of Christmas. The Club Piolet characters will be singing Christmas carols on Saturday 16th December, Father Christmas will be visiting illa Carlemany before Christmas and the thee kings’ messenger will be coming in the days before 6th January. There will also be a gift wrapping service and longer opening hours to help you enjoy the Christmas atmosphere, as well as lots of other surprises in store, because Christmas at illa Carlemany is twice the Christmas!
