The restaurants and cafés of Andorra’s Centre

The illa Carlemany shopping centre  is THE CENTRE in Andorra: because it’s located in the very heart of the country’s shopping district;  because it’s full of life; and because it brings together the widest array of services, shopping, entertainment and restaurants in the country, under a single roof and in a unique space.

Truly, you can spend the entire day at illa Carlemany. Not just to see what’s for sale, but also because the range of cafés and restaurants covers every meal of the day. Here, you can have breakfast, lunch, an afternoon snack, dinner, enjoy an hors oeuvre before sitting down to a meal, or sip an after-lunch or after-work coffee.

The illa Carlemany restaurants are located in two areas: on the ground floor (floor 0); and on floor 2, which also has outdoor terraces.

Starbucks, Dehesa Santamaría and Cal Marquet

All three are located on the ground floor (floor 0), just off the street, if entering the shopping centre via Avinguda Carlemany or Carrer de la Valira.

Starbucks is known for its extensive coffee menu, although they’ve also got a wonderful array of sweet and savoury proposals, making this an excellent option for those who want breakfast, an afternoon snack or a light midday meal.

For its part, Dehesa Santamaría has a great and assorted breakfast menu, featuring both sweet and savoury dishes. For lunch and dinner, they also serve tapas, which include plenty of Iberian cured meats and aged cheeses.

Cal Marquet is a culinary classic in Andorra and a great place to buy and taste exquisite wines, caves and champagnes. This is the ideal spot for an hors d’oeuvre, a light lunch or a quick bite before dinner, with a select assortment of cheeses, great oysters and superb hams.

Pizza Roma, Pans & Company, Burger King and Foster’s Hollywood

Floor 2 brings together the rest of the Centre’s food options: from Pans & Company’s increasingly more sophisticated sandwiches to the Italian cuisine of Pizza Roma, which offers set menus on weekdays.

If you prefer meat, Burger King has a menu, along with its grilled hamburgers. Or you can opt for the American cuisine at Foster’s Hollywood, with elaborate burgers, pork ribs, chicken, fajitas and salads.

To finish off a nice meal or simply enjoy a snack, be sure to stop by Yoghourtería by Danone and try any of its sweet options.
