The day of Sant Jordi is a festival you won’t want to miss at the illa Carlemany shopping centre. Year after year, the ground floor is filled with books and roses, showering visitors with tradition and new literature. Activities are also held to promote reading and creativity among the youngest members of the family.
For starters, the “Llibre Idees” bookshop, on floor 2, will be hosting an exciting event with the presentation and signing of books by prominent authors including Mireia Rodríguez, Eva Arasa, Ludmilla Lacueva and Ivan Armengod. With themes ranging from personal growth and development to the thrilling adventures of Inspector Cerni Llop, you’re sure to find everything you’re looking for.
The Piolet Club will also be taking part in the Sant Jordi festivities at illa Carlemany, with the children’s story competition. This year’s theme is “What would the legend of Sant Jordi be like if it happened in 2024?” Don’t miss the display of the stories by the winners and finalists, along with storytelling by Andi on Saturday 20 April at 11 am, in the shopping centre. The stories will be on display on the ground floor until Sunday, 28 April.
