New season colours in fashion and accessories are already filling the displays at our fabulous brand stores. We review the colours that will be out there this spring and summer to get your wardrobe ready for the fine weather.
Citrus tones are coming on strong!
Citrus colours are winning out this season. Orange, yellow and lime green will dominate, with the latter playing the starring role: it brings out freshness and life, and works well with neutral colour pieces.
From pale to intense
Butter yellow is back as our neutral of choice. In the shop windows you’ll also see pale pink, trending toward a light lilac. With their tonal variations, both shades radiate friendliness, and can be worn from head to toe or adapted for any occasion.
Intense colours
Bright, vivid red dominates. Blues, from Klein to Capri including steel, are bright and fresh, evoking summer. Navy blue is a winner along with chocolate brown and cherry, which were in vogue last autumn and still reigning supreme. These sophisticated and versatile shades work well with chocolate basics, which can be combined with other browns, neutral, and more vibrant tones.
Black, white and silver
Intense black and pure white will never go out of fashion. While black is associated with the colder months, it always adds elegance and sophistication. Versatile white – a classic in the warmer months – works with different styles and situations, from casual to more formal events. Silver also makes a splash in handbags, shoes and belts, as well as dresses, skirts and shirts in different fabrics – look out for sequins and satin!
