The Andorra Shopping Festival takes place from November 8 to 17. The festival is mostly about shopping, but there are also music shows, children’s activities, a photo competition, several culinary highlights, art and many other activities..
Music is in the front rank this year, with performances by different groups from the 80s. The performances of famous pop singers like Luz Casal and Noa, plus many others, will make the shopping experience in the centre of Andorra even more entertaining. However, if you want a different challenge and unwind, you can also enjoy activities like After Shopping in the historic centre, the GoPro experience in Viladomat or the coffee break at Café El Conseller.
If you’re planning on taking the kids, don’t miss the children’s activities, for example the Expo Art with a tribute to fashion by Disney’s Minnie Mouse where several Minnie figures are on display throughout shopping area The Shopping Mile. But there are even more kids’ activities, like face painting, stone painting and kids’ shows, such as Jugagoglars.
The 13th edition of the Gastronomic Days of Andorra takes place simultaneously with the Andorra Shopping Festival. Different local restaurants offer tasting menus of Andorran gastronomy with local produce as star ingredient.
And let’s not forget the concert of saxophone player Guillem Tudó at the Illa Carlemany shopping centre on the 8th and 16th from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Also, on the 9th, a DJ will play at the opening of the Helly Hansen Store from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. And finally, for the campaign #InfantsenelPuntdeMira, Unicef has prepared an exhibition of three works of art made from wood collected from schools that were damaged during bombings in conflict areas.
In addition, the shops of the centre will be open from Monday to Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., so you can enjoy and visit the shops of Andorra into the wee hours of the evening!
