Christmas in the centre of Andorra

On 26 November, with the illumination of the Christmas lights, illa Carlemany kicked off the Christmas season in the centre of Andorra. This year, due to COVID-19 measures, the activities will take different formats, with virtual reality and new technologies playing prominent roles in our celebrations.

The centre will continue to offer excitement to kids during the festive season. That’s why we’ve launched the website www.nadalailla.ad, where you can send letters to Santa Claus and the Three Kings, and where you’ll find the Wish Box, and can even find out how to get your picture taken with Santa Claus or the Three Kings in a virtual reality space installed in the centre, and what you need to do to book an online visit with them.

The website also includes tips and recommendations on the best gifts and home and table decorations for Christmas, as well as photos and videos of the decorations at the centre. You can also download the song “Cau la nit”, a piece that illa Carlemany commissioned from Andorran musicians Marc and Laia Rodríguez Jareño, of the group Melicotó, accompanied here by the cellist Jordi Claret.
