The Andorra Shopping Festival, now in its eighth year, is to take place from 29th October to 14th November. The programme of activities is packed with concerts, workshops for children and young people, street shows and autumn food, all happening in the country’s main shopping venues, among them illa Carlemany, Andorra’s centre.
On the ground floor, over Easter weekend, the Andorra Farming and Craft Products Fair will be offering everything from jams and jellies made by Casa Gendret to the sweet creations of the chocolatiers of Xocland, also including the Alpha range of craft beers, Pocions de Lluna Nova cosmetics, Capricho de Luna soaps and hand-made woollen creations by the Vital label, inspired by the world of Pyrenean shepherds.
There will also be a classic-style food truck at the entrance to the shopping centre on the pedestrian avenue, selling products from a range with the seal of the farmers and craftspeople of Andorra, including cured meats, liqueurs and spirits, honey and more.
Also, on Saturdays 6th and 13th November the shopping centre is to host events in the Andorra Shopping Festival programme organised by the largest skiable area in southern Europe, Grandvalira, which will be offering visitors a memorable experience.
Many of the establishments in the shopping centre are joining in with discounts and offers to celebrate the event. All put together, it’s sure to make the shopping experience in Andorra, and at Illa Carlemany in particular, even more exciting.
