HOW TO GET THE GIFT CARD
GENERAL CONDITIONS OF USE OF THE GIFT CARD
This gift card is only valid for purchases at the establishments of illa Carlemany that accept Mastercard and cannot be used as payment in the car park. It has been loaded with the requested sum. You may check the balance of your card at the Customer Service Point or at any Creand cash dispenser. Please keep in mind the expiry date of the card. There must be a credit balance available on the card in order to use it. In case of theft, loss, damage or similar events, illa Carlemany reserves the right to replace or cancel the card. Please be sure that the amount of your intended purchase is not greater than the balance on your card, as the transaction will otherwise be declined. If you wish to make a purchase for an amount greater than the balance on your card, you must ask the merchant to charge only the exact sum of the available balance on the card and provide another form of payment for the difference, if the shop will allow it. When returning purchased goods or services, you will be asked to present the card receipt of the transaction, the sales receipt and the card. Each time you use your card, you authorise illa Carlemany to deduct the value of the transaction from the balance of the credit associated with the card. You agree to safeguard the card just as you would if it were cash. By requesting, receiving and using this card, you, as a user, expressly accept all the provisions of these General Conditions of Use.
DISCLAIMERS
illa Carlemany will not be responsible for any of the following circumstances: Insufficient funds on the card to complete the transaction. A merchant’s refusal to accept the card. The malfunction of the electronic terminal where the transaction is processed. Inability to access your card after you have reported its loss or theft. In the case that any circumstance beyond our control (fire, flood, error in communication, etc.) prevents the transaction, despite any reasonable precautionary measures in place. Any withholding or in the event that your funds were subject to a legal process or other constraints that might restrict their use. If there are any reasons to believe that the requested transaction is not authorised. The quality, security, legality or any other aspect of the goods or services purchased using the card.
OTHER TERMS
If any one of the provisions of these General Conditions of Use is deemed invalid or inapplicable according to the legal terms of any regulation, law or rule of any governing body, such cancellation or invalidity shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions herein. This card was issued by Creand – Crèdit Andorrà, for which all rights are reserved. For further information or additional assistance, please call the telephone number on the back of the card. Once the card expires, you will have a maximum of three months to cash in the card and recover the remaining balance, providing it is over €5. To do so, you must request a card at the illa Carlemany Customer Service Point. After such period, the system will no longer allow you to recover the remaining balance.
